Werner Introduces Max Patrol™ Leading Edge Self Retracting Lifelines

New Addition of Leading Edge SRL to the Max Patrol Self Retracting Lifelines (SRL’s) Series; Approved for Use in Leading Edge Applications

Greenville, PA, October 1, 2018—Werner, the world leader in ladders and manufacturer of a complete line of climbing products and fall protection equipment, today introduces the expansion of their Max Patrol Self Retracting Lifeline (SRL) series with the addition of Leading Edge SRL's. The new Max Patrol SRLs combine freedom of movement performance with a fall arrest mechanism designed to minimize clearance requirements.

Designed for use in leading edge applications, the new line of Max Patrol Leading Edge Series has been approved for use over steel beam, precast concrete and B-deck. The expansion of the Max Patrol Leading Edge SRL can also be used in non-leading edge applications, while meeting the Class A requirements for ANSI. The impact resistant housing and shock pack cover provide durability in the harshest of environments.

Durability, Freedom of Movement and Leading Edge Approved

The Max Patrol R4100 series is a lightweight and rugged design, while being ideal for low clearance applications. It minimizes fall arrest distance to 24” when used overhead, while allowing freedom of movement with line-lock performance. The new Self Retracting Lifeline product series meets multiple needs for professional tradesmen that require specialized equipment in unique construction environments. It also supports professionals and their tools for up to 400 lbs., while attaining a lightweight and durable system with modular construction for easy inspection and service. Additional product features include:
