Stepping up: Werner introduces four new loft ladders, tailored for the modern home

Leading ladder and access solutions manufacturer Werner has further strengthened its offering to the installer market by adding four new ladders to its best-in-class range of timber loft ladders.
Designed to provide users with safe and comfortable access to domestic loft spaces, the timber range features Werner’s updated Timberline and ECO S-Line, as well as four new additions to the range; Stowaway®, ThermoPlus™, Easi-build® and FireguardPRO™.
Manufactured in a durable timber wood, each ladder can hold up to maximum weight of 150kg, including the user, their tools and their material. The four new additions to the Timber Loft Ladder Range were launched to accommodate for more demand from UK homeowners in accessing unused loft space, with each ladder designed to meet a wide range of specific domestic requirements.
Key benefits of the new additions include ultra-compact design, to suit homes with limited space; fire retardant hatch door, for improved fire safety; high insulation to maximise energy conservation, and ease of installation; four specifically tailored features which allow professional installers optimal flexibility in being able to provide customers with the right product to suit the needs of their home.
Each product is available in a kit, which features a folding multi-section ladder, including timber casting to house all components, namely: insulated hatch & stowage pole; all fixtures and fittings, and a Handrail with the Eco S-Line and ThermoPlus models.
Each ladder is designed to suit average UK ceiling heights, with the products in the range having a reach between 2.75m and 2.88m, depending on the model. Extension packs are also available to accommodate for properties with higher ceilings, with each Extension Kit offering an additional 0.47m of vertical ‘reach’ onto each of the standard heights.
Designed with comfort and safety in mind, each ladder within the range features twelve deep rungs which enables ease of footing for users whilst climbing, and rubber feet which provide slip resistance without damaging floor surfaces.
Neatly folding away with heavy-duty springs, the Timber Loft Ladder range does not encroach on loft space when not in use, allowing homeowners to fully optimise storage space. Werner also offers a five-year warranty with each ladder, offering comprehensive replacement spare-part availability.
Prices range between £149.99 and £449.99, providing cost effective yet quality solutions that suit a diverse range of budgets.
